mediapuls, a company based in Switzerland, built Padelly as a free app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use Padelly.
Information We Collect
Player Names
You may enter player names when setting up a match. These names are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (SwiftData). They are never transmitted to any external server.
HealthKit Data
With your explicit permission, Padelly accesses Apple HealthKit to read heart rate and active energy burned during matches on Apple Watch. This health data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to any external server or third party. Padelly does not sell, share, or use HealthKit data for advertising or data mining purposes.
Match History
Match results and statistics are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, match history is synced across your devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is handled entirely by Apple under their privacy policy and terms of service. mediapuls does not operate any servers and has no access to your iCloud data.
Score Sharing
Padelly uses Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework to share live scores with nearby players over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. This data does not leave your local network and is not transmitted to any external server.
Watch Connectivity
Padelly uses Apple's WatchConnectivity framework to communicate between your iPhone and Apple Watch. This communication is handled entirely by Apple's device-to-device protocols.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
- We do not use third-party SDKs.
- We do not display advertisements.
- We do not require or support user accounts.
- We do not operate any server-side infrastructure.
- We do not collect, store, or process any personal data on external servers.
In-App Purchases
Padelly offers an optional Tip Jar. All payment processing is handled by Apple through StoreKit. mediapuls does not receive or store any payment information.
Third-Party Services
Padelly does not integrate any third-party services. All features rely exclusively on Apple frameworks (HealthKit, CloudKit, MultipeerConnectivity, WatchConnectivity, StoreKit), which are governed by Apple's own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
Padelly does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require any personal data to function, and all data remains on the user's device or within Apple's iCloud infrastructure.
Data Retention and Deletion
All data is stored on your device. You can delete your match history and player data at any time by deleting the app. If you have iCloud Sync enabled, you can remove synced data through your iCloud account settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
